It's the erasers that so clearly identify them as Blackwings. Isn’t that interesting! There are little details that I love in this clip: The sagging bookshelf that behaves like the cheap particle board shelves in my office. A 2x4 for a handrail in the stairwell instead of a nicer, rounded one. And I’ll take a guess that Martin Short's inspiration for Ed Grimley's high-waisted pants outfit is none other than Edward. G. Robinson.
